“Enormity” Poster Print
“Do not be daunted by the enormity of the world’s grief. You are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are you free to abandon it.”
This Jewish wisdom makes doing the work to repair the world more approachable. Because of the rabbinical tradition of writing interpretation and commentary in the margins, the artist used this space to acknowledge to add affirmations for the heaviness you may carry if systemic oppression has you in survival mode, living in constant grief and rage, or the heaviness of facing the enormity of human cruelty.

ABOUT THE BRAND:
Tender-Heart Press was founded in 2017 in Oakland, CA . Oscar makes letterpress posters rooted in heart wisdom, collective healing, and liberatory spellwork. Since 2017 their work has been printed in various print shops across the country including Berkeley, Santa Fe, Silver City, Detroit, Houston & Atlanta. In 2020, they bought a Vandercook SP-20, which began its life as a proof press for a Newspaper in Wisconsin. Oscar loves the smell ink, the rhythm of the press, and the slow process of laying type by hand.
